Laura Bally-Mahabir received her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree in 2023 from New York Law School. She holds a Bachelors of Arts (B.A.) degree with a double minor in English Literature and Dispute Resolution from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York, NY. During law school, Ms.Bally-Mahabir interned with Catholic Charities Immigrant and Refugee Department and the Safe Passage Project where she received knowledge and experience in various areas of U.S. Immigration Law. She also took part in her law school’s Asylum Law Clinic, giving her specific knowledge and experience in Asylum Law. Ms.Bally-Mahabir is an immigrant herself and thus able to help clients through their own immigration process.
